At Roshi App Studio ("we," "us," or "our"), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application.

This Privacy Policy applies to Stylish Keyboard: Fonts Emoji, a custom keyboard application that provides keyboard themes, stylish fonts, emojis, stickers, keyboard sounds, voice typing, smart suggestions, photo keyboard themes, and optional premium features.

This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with Google Play Store requirements, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable data protection laws.

1. Consent

By downloading, installing, enabling, or using our application, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not install, enable, or use the App.

2. Important Keyboard Privacy Notice

Stylish Keyboard: Fonts Emoji is a keyboard application, also known as an Input Method Editor ("IME"). As a keyboard app, it technically processes the characters you type in real time so that text can appear in the app, chat, browser, or text field where you are typing.

However, the App does not collect, store, upload, sell, or share your typed text or keystrokes.

When enabling any third-party keyboard, Android may display a standard system warning that keyboards may be able to collect text you type. This is a generic Android warning shown for all third-party keyboards. Stylish Keyboard: Fonts Emoji does not collect, store, or transmit your typed text.

3. Information We Collect

We do not require users to create an account to use the basic features of the App. The App does not collect your keystrokes, passwords, private messages, or typed text.

We may collect or process the following limited types of information directly or through third-party services:

Personal Information

If you contact us directly, we may receive your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide in your message. The App does not require account registration for basic use.

Device Information

We or our third-party service providers may automatically process certain device information, including device model, operating system version, app version, language, mobile network information, and device identifiers.

Usage Data

We may process information about how the App is used, including feature usage, app performance, app crashes, access times, and other diagnostic activity. This helps us improve app quality and fix technical issues.

Location Data

We do not collect precise GPS location. Advertising and analytics services may infer approximate location from your IP address for ad delivery, analytics, fraud prevention, and localized content where applicable.

Advertising ID

For advertising and measurement purposes, Google AdMob and related Google services may process your device's Advertising ID, such as the Google Advertising ID on Android.

Purchase Information

If you buy a premium feature or subscription, Google Play Billing processes your payment. We do not receive or store your credit card number, bank details, or full payment information. We may receive limited purchase status information from Google Play, such as whether your subscription or premium access is active.

Voice Typing Data

If you use voice typing, your voice audio may be processed to convert speech into text. The App supports both online and offline voice typing. The App itself does not store, sell, or share your voice recordings.

Photo Keyboard Data

If you choose a photo to create a custom keyboard background, the selected image is stored locally in the App's private storage on your device. We do not upload, sell, or share your selected photo.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share:

  • Keystrokes or typed text;
  • Passwords or login credentials typed through the keyboard;
  • Credit card numbers typed through the keyboard;
  • Private messages typed using the keyboard;
  • Contacts or address book data;
  • SMS, emails, or in-app messages;
  • Precise GPS location;
  • Browsing history;
  • Files or documents;
  • Calendar data;
  • Health, fitness, or biometric data;
  • Photos or videos, except optional on-device custom photo keyboard themes selected by you;
  • Voice recordings by the App itself, except voice input processed only when you actively use voice typing.

5. Keyboard Data Handling

Typed characters are processed locally on your device in real time so that the keyboard can function.

  • Typed text is not permanently stored by the App.
  • Typed text is not logged by the App.
  • Typed text is not uploaded to our servers.
  • Typed text is not sold or shared with third parties.
  • Passwords and credentials typed through the keyboard are not collected by the App.
  • Autocorrect and word suggestions are designed to work locally on your device.
  • Text shortcuts and keyboard settings are stored locally in the App's private storage on your device.

The App does not maintain any custom server or central database containing your typed content.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use or process limited information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the App;
  • To provide keyboard features, themes, fonts, emojis, stickers, sounds, voice typing, and smart suggestions;
  • To save your preferences locally on your device;
  • To provide custom photo keyboard themes selected by you;
  • To process premium purchases and subscriptions through Google Play Billing;
  • To show and measure advertisements through Google AdMob;
  • To manage advertising consent choices through Google User Messaging Platform;
  • To understand and analyze app usage and improve the App;
  • To detect, prevent, and fix crashes, errors, fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • To communicate with you for customer support if you contact us;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

7. Voice Typing

The App may offer optional voice typing. The microphone permission is used only when you actively use the voice typing feature. The microphone is not used in the background for voice typing.

Online Voice Typing

When internet is available, speech recognition may be processed by Google's speech recognition service to convert speech into text. Your voice audio may be sent to Google for recognition and handled according to Google's Privacy Policy. The App itself does not store or retain your voice recordings.

Offline Voice Typing

The App also supports offline voice typing using an on-device/offline speech recognition model, such as Vosk, where available. In offline mode, voice audio is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

Voice typing is optional and is used only when you intentionally start voice input.

8. Custom Photo Keyboard Themes

The App may allow you to choose a photo from your device or camera to create a custom keyboard background.

When you select a photo:

  • The image is used only to create your custom keyboard theme;
  • The image is stored locally in the App's private storage on your device;
  • The image is not uploaded to our servers;
  • The image is not sold or shared by us;
  • You can remove it by deleting the theme, clearing App data, or uninstalling the App.

If the App requests camera, photo, or storage access, this access is used only for creating or selecting custom keyboard themes.

9. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We do not share your typed text, keystrokes, passwords, private messages, or custom keyboard content with third parties.

Limited data may be processed or shared with third-party services in the following situations:

  • Advertising Partners: We use third-party advertising partners, including Google AdMob, to serve ads within the App. These partners may use device identifiers and similar technologies to collect information for advertising and measurement purposes.
  • Consent Management: We may use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to show privacy consent forms and manage advertising consent choices where required.
  • Analytics Providers: We may use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve our services.
  • Crash and Diagnostic Providers: We may use Firebase Crashlytics or similar services to detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and technical issues.
  • Remote Configuration: We may use Firebase Remote Config to manage app settings, feature availability, and configuration remotely.

Our App may integrate third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) and services that may process limited data. These include:

  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK - for showing consent forms and managing advertising consent choices.
  • Google Play Services - for app functionality, compatibility, and Google service integrations.

11. Advertising

Our App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent choices, region, device settings, and applicable laws.

Google may use technologies such as the Advertising ID, cookies, or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google AdMob may process information such as:

  • Device Advertising ID;
  • IP address, which may be used to infer approximate location;
  • Device model, operating system version, language, and app version;
  • Ad views, clicks, and ad interaction data;
  • Diagnostic data related to ad serving.

12. Google User Messaging Platform Consent Form

The App may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to show a privacy consent form to users in regions where privacy consent is required, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other applicable regions.

The UMP consent form allows users to manage advertising privacy choices, including whether they consent to personalized ads or prefer non-personalized ads where available.

The App may store or read the user's consent status through Google's UMP SDK so that Google AdMob can serve ads according to the user's selected privacy choices.

13. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer optional premium features, subscriptions, or ad-free access through Google Play Billing.

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We do not receive, access, or store your credit card number, bank details, or full payment information.

The App may receive limited purchase information such as:

  • Whether a subscription or premium purchase is active;
  • Purchase status required to unlock premium features;
  • Product ID or subscription status information provided by Google Play.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

14. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

  • Data transmitted by Google services is protected using encryption in transit where supported by those services.
  • Local App data is stored in Android's app-private storage.
  • The App does not maintain custom servers containing user typed text.
  • The App does not maintain a central database of keystrokes, passwords, or private messages.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but the App is designed to reduce risk by not uploading typed text to our servers.

15. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

On-Device Data

Keyboard preferences, saved themes, text shortcuts, custom photo themes, and app settings are stored locally on your device in the App's private storage. This data remains on your device until you delete it, clear App data, or uninstall the App.

Keyboard Input

The App does not permanently store, log, upload, sell, or share the text you type. Typed text is processed locally and temporarily only to provide keyboard input, autocorrect, suggestions, and related typing features.

Voice Input

Voice input is processed only when you actively use voice typing. Online voice typing may be processed by Google's speech recognition service. Offline voice typing may be processed locally on your device using an offline speech recognition model. The App itself does not store or retain your voice recordings.

Third-Party Data

Data processed by Google AdMob, Google UMP, Google Play Billing, Google Firebase, Google Speech Recognition, and other third-party services is retained according to those services' own privacy policies and retention practices.

16. Account and Data Deletion

The App does not require users to create an account for basic use. If our application allows account creation in the future, you may request deletion of your account and associated data.

You can delete local App data at any time by:

  • Opening your device Settings;
  • Going to Apps;
  • Selecting Stylish Keyboard: Fonts Emoji;
  • Opening Storage;
  • Tapping Clear Data or Clear Cache;
  • Or uninstalling the App from your device.

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to delete applicable personal data within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or transaction completion.
